5 Effortless Ways to Dress for Work in the Summer
1.) Tailored Workwear
I’ve seen tailored set looks all summer. The tailoring makes the look instantly elegant and elevated so you don’t have to try too hard with this outfit. The perfect way to dress for work in the summer. Simply pop on this set, some leather sandals and you’re ready to go. Another thing that makes tailored set perfect is that the pieces are easy to mix and match so you can wear them to the office or on the weekends. Other ways I would style this as seperates would be to pair the vest with linen pants and the skirt with a shell tank top.

2.) Flowy Skirts
Another great way to dress for work in the summer is with a flowy skirt and blazer. I love the classic and preppy look this outfit achieves. This outfit is chic and sophisticated and also perfect for summer in my opinion. Pair with a well made tank top and ballet flats and you have a sophisticated and professional outfit. You can take the blazer off during your commute in but put it back on in the office to keep you warm while the AC is blasting.

3.) Tennis Dress
This outfit idea might seem a little out there since athletic wear and the office environment don’t typically go hand in but there are so many gorgeous tennis dresses you can hardly tell they were meant for working out. Pair this with pieces like a blazer and loafers or a silk top and leather sandals and you’ll have the perfect outfit to wear for work in the summer. Not only will you be stylish you’ll also be insanely comfortable and in moisture wicking material for the scorching July and August days.

5.) Denim Maxi Skirt
Denim maxi skirts are very on trend these days and I’ve really been loving the way people have been styling them. I think a denim maxi skirt is a great option for a casual friday at the office. You can easily dress this up more with a blazer and some kitten heels. This look is so chic it’s something you could easily wear to the office and a happy hour afterwards.
